Bluelink (with Advanced subscription option) gives Hyundai owners convenient remote access to select vehicle features such as remote start, climate control features, and emergency services. It’s easier than ever to register for Bluelink as a subsequent owner so that all Hyundai drivers can experience the benefits that Bluelink offers.

How to Enroll as a Secondary Owner

To enroll in Bluelink as a subsequent owner, follow the steps below:

1.      Documents which you will need to have ready:

           a. Proof of Ownership, which is one of the following: (i) Vehicle Title or (ii) Bill of Sale

           b. Current Vehicle Registration  or Insurance Card

           c.  Valid U..S. Driver's License

           d. Valid U.S. Passport                    

2.      Remove the Previous Owner: If the car is still registered to the previous owner, remove the previous owner by going to Settings > Bluelink in your vehicle and select "Deactivate Bluelink and reset to factory settings".

3.      Create Account: Go to MyHyundai.com or download the MyHyundai app from the App Store or Google Play and register for a new account.

4.      Update Ownership: Navigate to "Update Vehicle Ownership" on the MyHyundai website, which will require you to add proof of ownership.

5.      Activate in Vehicle: Start the vehicle and select the Bluelink menu on the infotainment screen, then select "Service Activation" to begin the transfer.

6.      Complete Enrollment: Follow the prompts to set up a 4-digit PIN for remote features and confirm your service package.
