The 2nd and 3rd row power seats in your 2026 Palisade or 2026 Palisade Hybrid may, in certain situations, not detect contact with an occupant or object as intended. To address this, Hyundai has released an over‑the‑air (OTA) software update.

The key changes of this OTA include:

• Tailgate must be open to use the seat stow (fold flat) function.
• The folding and stowing controls in the infotainment screen has been disabled.
• Seat and cargo area fold switches now require press and hold operation.
• Second row walk in (tilt) function now uses press and hold to access the 3rd row (Tilt Forward), with a combination of one touch to return the seat and press and hold of the seatback recline switch during return.
•Updated detection logic.
