A: It depends. Some charging stations offer NACS and/or CCS charging cables, some offer both. If you have a CCS port on your vehicle and you wish to charge at a NACS cable charging station, such as IONNA or Tesla, then yes, you will need to use a NACS adapter. If you have a NACS port on your vehicle and you wish to charge at a CCS charging station, such as EVgo, Electrify America, or IONNA charger, then yes, you will need to use a CCS adapter.

A: Most DC fast chargers will require you to select “stop” on the charger itself. Once you have clicked “stop”, the station and vehicle will enable you to remove the handle from the charging inlet. Other chargers such as a Tesla charger will enable you to stop the session from the app and remove the charger from the vehicle. If you are using an adapter, you may need to press unlock on the key fob before removing the charging cable.
