Charging your EV just got easier.
Starting March 2025, Hyundai is offering eligible owners a complimentary North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter. This gives you more access to connect to over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers that support NACS charging for a total of 45,000+ CCSs fast chargers across the U.S.
With access to NACS and CCS-compatible stations*, you’ll have greater charging freedom—making it easier to power up anytime, anywhere, whether on a long drive or a busy day out.
Plus, Bluelink** subscribers and owners of NACS EVs can use the MyHyundai app to easily find stations, start charging, and monitor sessions—all from your phone.
Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about NACS and how to claim your complimentary adapter.
What is NACS?
The North American Charging Standard (NACS) is an all-in-one charging port that gives customers access to a vast network of DC fast chargers across North America
All major automakers have embraced NACS as the standard for EV charging. It was developed from over 20 billion miles of charging data, making it a reliable, well-tested solution for fast and efficient charging.
As more automakers, including Hyundai, transition to NACS, EV drivers with native NACS port and provided CCS adapter will gain plenty of options on the road, especially during long journeys..
Please note: Actual charging speeds may vary based on factors like battery temperature and charging station usage. Hyundai EVs will charge at between 95kW and125kW at V3 Tesla Superchargers.
