Most Hyundai vehicles 2016 and newer equipped with Display Audio or Navigation have Apple CarPlay installed. Apple CarPlay allows you the ability to get directions, make calls, send and receive messages and listen to music through your car’s built-in display. 

If you don’t currently have Apple CarPlay, you may be eligible to download a software update. To download the software, you must be logged in to your MyHyundai account. If you are eligible, you will find a link to a download on the right side of the Multimedia and Navigation page.

To begin using Apple CarPlay, you will need an Apple iPhone SE/5 or newer with iOS 9.0 or higher with a data plan. Plug your phone in using a USB cable and follow the prompts.
