It has recently come to our attention that some Bluelink accounts have been flagged for abnormally high daily usage of “Find My Car” and “Remote Vehicle Status" commands. Long-term usage of these commands at high frequency could lead to 12V battery drainage on your vehicle and can also indicate misuse by a non-authorized third-party application.
If you have shared your MyHyundai with Bluelink login details to any third-party application that enables command automation, we strongly recommend that you disable the third-party application’s linkage to your MyHyundai account or otherwise disable the command automation function as soon as possible in order to reduce the risk of excessive drainage of your vehicle’s battery.
The use of Bluelink services is only authorized through the following Hyundai provided resources:
- "MyHyundai with Bluelink” app downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- MyHyundai Owner Portal
- Alexa and Google voice assistant skill integrations
